FAQs
Is this a training course?
No. You'll be learning about the underlying causes that can make training harder or easier. This course focuses exclusively on how your dog's diet can affect their behaviour, emotions, and stress levels.
Will this fix my dog's barking?
This isn't a quick fix, more of a powerful first step. By removing hidden stressors and support your dog's brain and body from the inside out, you'll gain the tools to make the dietary changes that can really impact on how they feel, cope, and behave, including how much they bark.
Do I have to feed raw?
No. But you do need to feed consciously. This course isn't about pushing raw, it's about understanding what different foods do to the body and brain, and making informed choices. Not all dogs can cope with raw, and that's exactly why we cover the nuances in our next course, Balanced to Beyond, so you can feed in a way that truly supports your dog's wellbeing.
What if I already feed a good diet?
Great! This course will deepen your understanding and help you refine things - especially if your dog is struggling with behaviour issues such as excessive barking, anxiety, or over-reactivity.
What if my vet says kibble is best?
Many vets do recommend kibble - often because their training in nutrition was limited and largely funded by pet food companies. This course isn't anti-vet, but it is pro-information. You'll come away with a clearer understanding so you can make confident and informed choices that best suit you and your dog.
I’m really busy - will I have time for this?
Absolutely. The course is broken into bite-sized lessons so you can learn at your own pace.

Fantastic course, broken down into lovely snippets, making it easy for me to follow and remember. Great tips, and even though I already feed my dogs a good diet, it still had me scribbling down things to consider. Looking forward to the next course :)

I've just completed the Balanced Behaviour Begins in the Bowl online course. I found it extremely informative, and learned a great deal. I would recommend this course to all dog guardians.

Very informative course. Competitively priced and highly recommended. Wished I'd known this years ago; might have stopped so many of my dogs having shorter lifespans and suffering from cancer.
